Request to the Parents

We at Vidhyaa Vikas Matriculation Higher Secondary School believe that the active participation of parents is essential for the overall development and academic progress of students. Kindly read and follow these requests carefully for the smooth functioning of school activities and the well-being of your child:

Please make it a habit to check your child’s school calendar/diary regularly. This will help you stay informed about assignments, events and important updates allowing you to support your child better.

Parents are requested to avoid visiting classrooms or meeting teachers during class hours. If needed, kindly contact the school office for information or to arrange a formal meeting.

To ensure transparency and communication, parents must personally collect the progress reports from the concerned class teacher during scheduled open days.

All complaints, concerns, or suggestions should be directed to the Principal only. Matters relating to your child’s education should not be discussed directly with the class teachers unless arranged through the Principal.

Parents are requested to co-operate with school authorities, especially when invited for discussions related to your child’s academic or behavioral progress.

Leave must be applied in advance and in writing. In case of illness or absence exceeding one week, a medical certificate must be submitted along with the leave application.

Students should *not be absent during terminal examinations* without a valid reason. A *medical certificate* is mandatory in case of illness during exam days.

Serious attention will be given to *unauthorized absences* during examination days, and *on the opening and closing days* of each term. Such absences will be recorded and may impact student progress or promotion.

Parents are welcome to meet the Principal on any working day during the following hours:
*Morning:* 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
*Evening:* 4:15 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.
Appointments may be scheduled through the school office.

Please remember: *a child’s happiness lies in becoming a good and responsible individual*. Moral and emotional support from home greatly enhances their growth.

We request your *active involvement in reinforcing school discipline*, which is crucial for building a positive learning environment and character development.

Notwithstanding the rules and procedures mentioned above, it should be clearly understood that the *school authority holds the final decision-making power* on all academic and administrative matters. These decisions are *final and binding* on all students and parents.
